GeePower started to develop and produce Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries in 1998. The lithium-ion battery (LIB) that was commercially launched in 1991 by Sony. After passing long-term research and test, we found that uniformity issue of the battery cells is mainly from raw material. In order to do better-quality management, we found our own raw material factory and laboratory. This is our biggest advantage to control batteries’ quality by our internal QMS(Quality management system).
In the past two decades, lithium ion (Li-ion), and lithium ion polymer (Li-ion polymer) batteries have been most swiftly developed and widely used in numbers of mobile consumer electronics, such as cell phones, cameras, laptops, notebook, and power tools, due to their high energy density, high power capacity, and strong performance.
Rechargeable batteries initially cost more than disposable batteries, but have a much lower total cost of ownership and environmental impact, as they can be recharged inexpensively many times before they need replacing. Some rechargeable battery types are available in the same sizes and voltages as disposable types, and can be used interchangeably with them.
